What is Travel and Accommodation Support?

• We offer financial support for attendees who cannot attend EA Global without it.
• You can apply for travel support to cover your transport and accommodation for the conference.
• We prioritise funding attendees who could not attend without support.

Who is Travel and Accommodation Support for?

• Our travel support funds are intended for attendees who earn less than $50,000 per year, with exceptions for those who are otherwise financially constrained and would not be able to afford to attend (e.g. have dependents or very precarious employment).
• The funds are intended for those who don't have other options available. If you think your employer or university might be able to cover your trip, please enquire before submitting a travel support request.
• If you’re unsure whether you are eligible, you are encouraged to apply anyway.

How much should I apply for?

• Please apply for what you need to be able to attend.
• Applying for only the amount that you need allows us to stretch our funds further, and help more people attend EA Global.

How does this affect my application?

• Applying for travel support has no bearing on the outcome of your application.
• Applications are reviewed for approval before any associated travel support requests are visible.

How do I apply?

• Apply for the event you wish to attend, via the application form on the event page.

• Seek out other potential sources of funding (e.g. your employer, college, or university).
