Effective Altruism Summit: Vancouver ‘25 is an effective altruism (EA) conference organised especially for the Pacific Northwest EA community. Whether you’re just beginning your EA journey or if you’ve been doing high-impact work for years, this Summit will be an incredible opportunity to connect with people and organisations in the community, exchange ideas, and discover ways to do the most good that you can.
What to expect
On Friday September 19, we are gathering for dinner and discussions (6-10pm) at the charming Odd Fellows' Hall, a 100-year-old community space.
On Saturday, we're spending the day together (9am-5pm) to explore the core questions of effective altruism, find opportunities to maximize our impact, and enjoy delicious vegan food. Refreshments like coffee and tea will be available throughout.

Don’t know anyone in the EA scene yet?
With structured networking opportunities and the Swapcard app, the Summit can let you skip the small talk and find others as committed to helping others as you are. Many people who attend EA Summits find these 1:1 acquaintances to be the most rewarding outcomes of the event.
Know someone who might want to attend? It’s always a good idea to bring a buddy. Share this event with them (LinkedIn) (Facebook) and encourage them to register ASAP!
